that ****ing lame! just use the money to put into the da! thats what i did. when my neighbor put his boat trailer into my crv, i bought my asr setup and a macbook. i dont mind the doors being banged up. everything still works fine
Thanks for the suggestion, I was going to try and just put another light fixture there but your idea is better. Can I still use the same wiring and then just piggyback off that connection, if I use two?
Still getting used to this whole house electric thing.
i had a 4' double light and just used a cheap extension cord, cut off the female end off to a wire up the light, and then plug it into a light bulb plug adapter.
my insurance is wierd. They want me to drop the truck off si they can send it to a body shop of their choice. I pick it up at their service center a few days later. Im working with them at the moment trying to get them to pay for me to take it to a bodyshop of my choice instead.
turn the light off at the toggle switch or breaker before messing with it. 14/2 Romex will work for adding a second, or third light. Use a bushing or connector of some sort to get wire through a metal hole.
hard-wire it, don't use a harry homeowner plug adapter kit.

Yea I wouldn't do that kind of ghetto stuff. I went to Home Depot today and all the fixtures I liked had normal plugs, nothing to hardwire. Guess I could cut it and wire it that way? I pulled the current fixture out and there is only a ground(black) and red(power) wire attached to it right now.
