no I got them from merchants, I got 215/45zr17's goodyear eagleGTs. they were like 136.00 a wheel, stupid me lost my lug nut key, so I had to pay to get it taken off. and I had to mount, balance and an alignment. thats why it came to 820.00..........

 

damn dude. most places up here mount n balance for free with the purchase of tires. sucks about the lug nut key though

 

yea it was my fault, I kept putting it off and I was going to shop around, and then the storm was coming and I was for damn sure not getting caught in the snow without tires like last time so I went to the first place I found that was open, I am kicking myself now, but I love my new tires. I bought this thing that if anything happens to them for the life of the tires I get it fixed for free.

 

they're not that bad...i have a full set as a cofee table haha

okay i have some 16X7 rims starting to look at wheels i can fit 225 on it without the tires scraping anything right? i'm sitting on tokicos with eibach sportlines i was thinking of wraping my SSRs with 225/40? what you think?

just started looking into tires not many with those specs maybe 215? right now im on 205/55/15

i test fitted my new wheels 15x8 +36 with 225/45s and i rub, had to lower it a little more to clear
so 16 might rub crazy


but
progress being made, gave up on painting the car, im just gonna paint match the bumper
so i can use the extra mulla for some VtAk Yo!!!!!!! lol

so turns out that my konis werent shortened had to send them back
but i still installed my ground controls on a back up set of konis i had

Those cheap test pipes and any test pipe is just a pipe to be in place of the cat. It doesn't act as a resonator. So, if you put that on it's basically cat-less which would sound like crap and smell like crap, which means giving a reason for a cop to pull you over and give you a FAT fine for not having a cat.

 

yeah matt, this ***** gettin old. dude the roads were freakin horrible this morning down there! and even this evening on the way home we still saw like 2 or 3 wrecks on 70, one of which was a tractor n trailer that crashed into the snow bank in the slow lane and had traffic backed up for miles. MD sucks *** at clearing roads after snow!!!!!! we'll prob. work a half day down there again and come home and miss working wed. good thing we already have a **** load of hours in plus over time. how the hell do you guys live down there?!

 

Yea after being in PA all the time I really do realize how much better the roads are else where. I was in St Louis this time last year and it snowed about 18 inches. They did not even clear the highways til 2 days after the fact.

It really hardly ever snows this much here. Maybe 6 inches at the most. Last time it snowed this much was 2003.

 

yeah same here. we haven't had this much snow in quite a while either... i heard we're to get more on friday again too! when is it gonna stop?!

but, i'm off to bed. we're working in crofton this week and leave here around 5:30am so its time to get some sleep. hopefully we'll get a full day in tomorrow, but i doubt it
