Adaptor pipe for what? Sorry, i searched all over but no one states the exact difference, its more curiosity than anything.

They are application specific from 90-91 and 92-93 for HKS. The length of the catalytic converters is different from 90-91 to 92-93. At least I think its the cats. It could be the A-pipe from the exhaust manifold that has a different length also. Either way, HKS makes them specific to those different years where as tanabi makes their exhaust systems the same (from 90-93) and offers an adapter pipe for the 90-91 applications.

yea the cats are different lengths and from what i recall from talking to a few dealers is that the exhaust piping is the same on the hi-power, but when you buy the 92-93 exhaust you have an extra bolt on extension.

s techs will definately not slam your car... it will lower it but not slam it! youll be able to go over speed bumps and up driveways no problem.. when i had skunk/illuminas w/ extended top hats my car was raised all the way up to get on the alingment rack and it was still lower then any aftermarket springs i cleared speed bumps/driveways fine..

ive got skunk2 lowering springs and i cant go up my driveway without scraping the front bumper or drive off without dragging my muffler.i dont have a big muffler either im running a magnaflow oval so its pretty small. normal speed bumps usaully arent too bad if i take them at a 45 degree angle. now petes car is SLAMMED. not too many sets of lowering springs will "slam" your car, you would have to be getting into coilovers to "slam"
