Yours is such a great example of the DA in stock form. I'd almost begrudgingly hate to see it modded.

Must be one of those USDM/CDM differences. I don't think any of our RS's came with spoilers either but I could be wrong.

I think stock DA's can be modded out with out loosing the stock/ original form, it just has to be well thought out.

I've been on this thread since 04. Since then I have had 4 DA's. I was never content with any of my DA's in the past. I've always had an image in my head of what DA trim line I have wanted and what set up I wanted. The majority of the parts in this car ^ I have been stock piling since 06.

 

True, which is why I've been holding on to all my parts for a month now without installing them. I need to be sure I really want a certain piece on the car before I go through with it. It's like touching up an old Van Gogh painting, you have to be careful not to turn it into a freaking cartoon. The only pieces of body work I'd add or change on the car are Stock Modlings -> Thin Moldings, Hiro front lip and a stock wing.

With the main piece being glass it doesn't fade like plastic. The light output is great because of this. They're very clear and aim well.

 

very true. i learned the hard way with all of my other DA's. i used to always buy random **** and always tinker with them. my new way of thinking is to treat these cars "hondas" as if they are classics/ little hot rods in a sense because pretty soon in the near future that is what they are going to be. especially DA's and most importantly DB2's/GS-Rs. I think of them as being 68/69 camaro SS's. people will laugh when they read this but just wait, time will prove my way of thinking right.

 

I agree 100%, especially DB2s. In 5 Years, a 90 DA will qualify for Classic Plates in California. These things are ancient. heheheh

 

I can't wait to get the classic plates.
