I plan to do this this week, have wired everything else off the fog light switch, why not the fog lights, LoL.
Do most people just use the defrost button trick from G2ic?

i heard the defrost trick can short the defroster, so i used the free pin trick. i used a piece of wire and a 22ga. female spade connector. It's so basic from here, just crimp the terminal to your piece of wire, connect that side to the second of three free pins on the kick panel fuse box. looks something like this [-] [-] [-] use the one in the middle. and then connect the other side of the wire to the red/yellow wire on the switch.

Hmm I may just do that then. Just as easy to run a wire and connect it to something with constant power when the ignition is on.

Grr Finally wired up my fogs, for the first time ever on these mad tite JDM headlights, Fog light must be out on the drivers side. Gotta wait til another day when it's nice so I can pull the headlight and pop the bulb out.

The headlights came with yellow fogs, dont know if they are bulbs or covers, gotta wait to order a new one.

I hate wiring! There was like .02 inches of wire left on the harness for the fogs.

they came with those yellow capsule looking things inside the fogs, the way i did mine was cut the plugs from the usdm foglight wire, crimped on some female spade terminals again, unscrewed the little bracket on the jdm headlights that hold the foglight clips onto them to give me a little more room and connected them that way. but i did take the bumper and headlights off the car. so good luck.

USDM tegs had a normal whiteish OEM bulb in the foglights from the factory. I know a lot of ppl did the Legend trick or just bought yellow bulbs.
Guess I will see once I pull them.
When I put my headlights on I never put the bolts under them back in so I just have the top 3 holding them in.

Yeah, im talking about the jdm headlights so im pretty sure yours have a capsule inside; Yeah i did the legend yellow fog capsule trick in my old usdm set. You're right they came with stock white h3 bulbs. I think the jdm ones use the same bulbs in the foglights.

Yup they are H3. Hmm I guess I will have to see, when I got them a few years ago there were some fake HID type bulbs in them, I could see the fogs were yellow so I figured the lovely Japanese kid before me put some yellow bulbs in too.

Yeah your right, I compared it to edited pictures with the sun on blast and it made it look deeper red. It's probably the flake too.
