Let me explain this car show/meet. At the high school there is a class called marketing. The class teaches you the basic concept of business. At the end of every year the class host a car show/meet. The class split into different groups, ie. cars, sponsor, food, music, trophy, organizer, etc. This car show/meet is a big part of the grade they will receive in this class. The better the car show/meet turns out, the better the grade they will receive.
They normally have an amateur and a pro category for the thropy. They have judges that walks around and interview car owners. ( the past few years its been judges that doesnt know crap about the import scene, but hopefully that will change.
This car show/meet has been a chill event. Never any problem, great way to meet new people that share the same interest as you. They normally have a few cops at the event but dont be alarm they will not yank you, or write you a ticket for anything. These cops are just there to make sure that no one gets out of line. ( Remember this is a high school event on a high school campus.)
Its still a few months away so info on the car show/meet hasnt been giving out yet but i have a few friends in that class this year and will talk to them for more information! I will also try to find some pic of the event from my year and the year after, so you can see the turn out.
edit: here is JSJbro coverage of last year meet!

that year they had a guy from the marines and a guy from project ride and my teacher judge.. said to say they did a horrible job. The guy that won amateur my year was a GSR lowered on i forget what wheels and clean paint with recaro seats and a stock engine.. There was another car exactly the same color but with a jdm front and RHD conversion with a K swap i believe.. i though he should of won..
thanks for the info i will let them know about it. i am not in charge of this car show but i will help them out to make sure it turns out successful like the past 2 years.

what happened to it? they are pretty tough batteries, but if you run them down to nothing, you have to use the correct voltage controlled charger to bring them back 100 pecent, they can handle all the current you throw at them, but if the voltage goes over 14.5 i think, the emergency vent on the battery opens, the alternator in the car willl charge them just fine with regular use. I'm still looking for a reasonably priced voltage controlled charger, we have one at work, but i'm trying to find a retailer, the ones we have were bought at an air show, about 68 bucks each, I tested one with my PC625, and the voltage never went over the danger level, even on maintinence charge. a trickle charger won't bring an odyssey back from dead 100 percent, it takes a specific amount of amperage, one thing that will kill an odyssey quick, is a car with a computer, alarm, etc, that always takes current, if the car is driven everyday, it's fine, but if parasitic drain continues for a long time, it will ruin the battery, this is when you use a trickle charger
