rebuilt tranny
stage 1 clutch resurfaced flywheel
intake mani, iac, fitv, tb teardown and clean,
new radiatior, cam seal replacements,
front brakes replaced
new poly bushings across the whole front end as well as tierods and alignment
from bottlecaps to basketweaves always new rubber
full interior clean
cut out rockers and quarters replaced with all new metal
half *** paint job to see what i thought of the color
plans:
b16 or b18c swap
hydro conversion
new coilovers
100+ more hours of body work
same color but a quality paint
rear disc(already have just need to tear down and sandblast powdercoat)
possible cage or half cage

yes i did, just used some 409 with a red scuff pad then before i painted it i whiped it down with some reducer i had left over...the paint is actually caliper paint its for 500degrees plus and has a ceramic material in it. thought i would try it out.

good work! keep us posted!Makes me miss my old EF Sedan..
THROW BACK THURSDAY!

yes, yes you should!! and find some used fjt custom length rods as well to compliment the vitaras. that's the setup i'm running/building and so far i could not be happier with it. i'm just a base map till i get things finished up to get tuned and i'm already very impressed. i just ordered my competition clutch 4 puck un-sprung clutch kit today finally. once that comes i'll be getting it in the car asap and finishing up everything else to finally get it tuned. i cant freakin wait!
I was planning on doing exactly that.
Vitara 75.5 piston with fj rod, and acl race bearing for the block.
Either super tech or blox dual valve springs and retainer and a stage 1 cam for the head.
Stage 3/4 clutch competition clutch
.57 trim garrett turbo
Tial 38mm waste gate
Debating weather I should leave ac/ps and if I should do e85 or just 91.
The car is going to be daily so I'm not looking to do anything mad crazy but still something to have fun.

I am going with a 5858 Preciscion Turbo. Arias 84 mm pistons and Eagle rods... Eagle sleeved too actually so I am hoping to hit a solid 600 hp mark.
Finding a gas station that carries e85 was my only concern an reason for not going that route. No poin of pumping 100, so 91 it is!
As for the color of the car I don't know the exact name for it. But it's a Maroon color.

if you're not going for crazy power, then the standard 6 puck should work pretty good for you. i'm going to be low hp for now, but i plan to keep growing and improving my setup and dont want to buy the same things over n over, which is why i went straight to the 4 puck unsprung.
if the car is you dd, then def keep the a/c for sure.
same thoughts here as well with the e85. if it's easy to find, then go for it. if it's spotty, then just use reg pump gas
Happy friday everyone, i just got off work and about to get my weekend started! hope everyone is doing the same!
anyone got any plans this weekend.
looking at some old photo and reminiscing
