oooo.....i like the name of this thread...

started out as an all matching y7, after spinning a rod bearing, swapped in a y8 w/ matching tran's, timing was off so it melted the #2 piston and cracked the block a couple of time's...rebuilt the og y7 (new main/rod bearing's, new ring's, only thing i didnt do was turn the crank and have it bored)

bought the car a little modified (drop, 99 si front, exterior mod's and the battery relocation)
day i bought it...





a LOT of work later...

10 miles on a rebuilt y8 head

b&m ss w/ gsr shift ****
y8 harness, im, tb
stock intake lol
random coilover's
99 si front
00 si wheel's on 205/50/15's
purple bay and a half *** tuck
type r rear lip
95 accord rear lip on the front
ex brakes up front, integra disc's in the back

thats all i can think of off the top of my head, only had the car about 6 month's...put a lot of wrenching and sweat into this car...and its just the dd so no real big plan's...ive got a "hotrod' dont need two...

but being able to wipe the smile's off of mustang owner's face's with your low riding *** is pretty cool too though lol....

lot of time in this car....ive always hated honda's and when i bought this one i fell in love.....its sooooooo much easier to work on then a nissan....but if this freaking motor blow's up/knock's or anything bad happen's, its getting snatched out for a b18 or k20....

found the problem it was stil a part from the old gasket on it so it was kinda double gasket since we took it all off i decided to clean the intake manifold again and what not and put it back on tomorrow and hopefully start her up

I was On My Way Back from Taking my son to my baby sitter. The roads to her house are all curves and hills and my car just stopped Pulling....

Auto Zone Axle for the Winnn... I had just replaced it 2 weeks b4...



I replace the TOB (old one was making noise), Lowered her some more, rotated my tires... and messed w/ a couple small things... She'll be back on the Road in the AM, Just gotta go pick up some Trans Fluid.

Get a hondata gasket it in there while its off, they're cheap and you won't regret it

i have a 94 civic si hb with d16z6 in it what should be the first thing i do to the engine or should swap

 

I would make sure nothing is wrong with the car like bushings, balljoints and brakes and regular maintenence before i would swap a motor.


Took the hatch to the carwash to shampoo and vacum the interior and today i found the parts i need to replace the broken pieces to my wheels for the one busted centercap.
