got a package today, old school, this was on someones warehouse shelf for 20 years, they have discontinued all these with the dual smaller tips, I love getting an old yellowed package like this, it's been waiting for me, you'll have to pardon the rear bumper, a friend of mine finally found me a good hatch rear bumper, I just haven't painted it yet. I need to get rid of the factory rear exhaust cutout, then finish up and prime and paint this bumper.

front motor mount is close to being done, I need to make the collar to position the inner part for center and height while the urethane cures, one it's done it will all be bonded into one piece, forget the weak factory mount
this is the base of the mount, I cut this square piece roughly to shape before machining it,

this is with the center bored out

roughly finished mount the base still needs to be attached to the mounting plate,

this is the guts of the mount, the center section suspends inside of the outer case, the heavy piece of the steel section sticks out about a half inch, this is what the motor mount bracket sits on, I need to make a collar to fit in the top with a setscrew, this will let me exactly center the center piece and adjust the height perfectly, once it's adjusted right, liquid urethane gets poured in the outer case, in a couple of days, the collar comes off, and the center section will be bonded permanently into the urethane, there's a gap between the center section and the top, to allow for movement. the reason for the washers is to make sure the mount can't come apart.

[QUOTE=91sedan_kid;44519576]shouldnt be too hard. I did my fuel pump in a few hours. the hard part was putting the tank back up. took 3 of us to put it back up. dropping and switching the pump was easy. maybe accords are harder than integra.
It took 3 of you to put it back up!? You must of had a full tank..I did it myself with half a tank..and a good ol' trusty jack to help hold the tank in place ; ) while i lowered and raised it back
Dang it i still can't get use to responding to quotes all nice and shizz they always come out jacked up and not in the rectangle like everyone else.

it took 3 people to put mine back up too because the exhaust was in the way and the straps were only detatchable from one side.
when you do quotes, make sure it has the "
" always caps

[QUOTE=CDdubz5;44525180]Thanks CDdubz5 I guess it's easier with my DA9 the exhaust is not in the way
I did mine and my friends and it took me about an hour and a half for both. And the had a full tank,i just used a floor jack to drop and lift it. Its EZ just to lift the back first then bring the front up and star threading the bolts.
