BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
i never ran a camber kit on that car, just the wheels camber in naturally, i would either lower the car more or roll the fenders more to fit a set up. If your car is slammed and you throw a 195 45-15 on you'll just need a fender roll and you'll be good, those specs are pretty aggressive though, i would prefer the wheels that 91sedan_kid and My_EFsedan are running which are 16x8+20, imo those are the nicest wheels sportmax/xxr has ever come out with
Thanks bro so then I can run 195 45-16 or 195 45-15 ? with wheel specs that 91sedan_kid and/or My_EFsedan have (16x8+20). Correct me if I am wrong.
well....at least i got the width right
tire sizing works like this:
205/50/r16
205 is the width in mm
50 is the aspect ratio or the relation of width to diameter so it is your sidewall
r just means steel belted radial
and 16 is your rim diameter.
generally speaking, people will put 215 tires on 8" wheels but some will go as high as 235 or as low as 195

Thanks for the info
in regards to a wheel having specs of 16x8+20 the part that is +20 what does that reference to?
! i! say you look at the wheel from the back of the car (passenger side) the cheazy exclamation point wheel (where the i is the center of the wheel [mounting pt]) would have a positive offset (+)
!i ! this one would be negative camber (-) looking at the same side
! i ! and this is 0 offset

the exhaust tip is finally hanging on it's own, the piping is all in, except some short sections of straight pipe. heat shield is back in.

other then the crap tires which came on the rims, this is what they look like with argent silver, caps, and beauty rings, look straight off an old school Honda, no one would guess they are Geo Storm wheels, I was suprised how hard they were to actually find. Apparently a lot of those cars get shipped to mexico where they are very popular

doing some polishing testing, everyone says to use ajax for the initial polish on raw stainless, then use polishing compound from there, I need a buffer wheel for the drill, it's too hard to use the bench buffer on the big pieces

how was everyone elses day?

as dummada said, it has to do with offset. the offset is the distance from the center of the barrel that the wheel (upward part where you bolt to hub) is. so +15 is 15 mm to the outter edge of the wheel. +20 is the same deal just 20mm. when talking about negative offset (ie -10) is then the wheel is toward the inner edge. the usual fwd offset is about +45

ok ryte ryte.... so let's see if i understand this right.
+ offset means the top of the wheel/tire is going in torwards the chasis and the bottom is leaning away so the tire looks like this " \ " of course looking at the car from the rear, am I right ?
- bottom of tire goes inward \
yes u are correct =]
lol its confusing ... i dont know anything about tires either.
look at this picture, you see how the wheel and tire are leaning inward at the top? this is negative camber. positive camber is when the tire points out at the top. offset is where the center of the wheel is in relation to the barrel of the wheel so look at the wheel/tire in the direction the pic suggests and refer back to my sad exclamation point example

no
no. this is what is called camber which has to do with the chassis alignment. it does not have to do with the offset of the wheel (at least not directly but thats for another day)

lol ok so negative camber is what make the wheels lean like that ok NOW i get it so then looks like i'll have to get a camber fit for the front and rear to get the look i want. now can anyone answer my question regarding if the wheel specs are 16x8+20 then the tires I can put on them are 195 45-16. Like i said I ain't trying to copy DumaDA styzz , I just like the stance of the wheels on his ol' ride which I would like my car sitting like eventually... so size 15 wheel and tire would be too small!?
kool i'm glad i finally got it
