BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
I'm really diggin' this thread. I've got a 1990 DA9 GS that I'm building right now. Got it bone stock with over 300k on the clock. Its receiving a B18C1 swap, PeakBoost kit with 3076R, Neptune P72, and a few other goodies. I'll def post pics of the progress as I get em'.

Dropped off car at the body shop. Also check arrived today and it's in the bank. Now wait 2-3wks and go pick it up. I'm going with green but I'm still up in the air about what color green. Here are pics of different greens. Tried to find one dark and one in the sun of each so you get the full effect. Tell me what one you like the best. Thanks

Screw you guys.... The lexus color is my last choice and that's the one everybody keeps saying looks good. It's been used to much already. The nissan color is almost the same just a tad darker. The jeep color is growing on my at an incredible pace lol.

What's up guys? My B18c is totally torn down at the moment. I'm so mad at myself right now. I put the number 3 cam cap on backwards.. It blocked off some oil passageways and allowed my camshaft to get hot and eat up the cam journals... Such a stupid mistake..

im an all motor dude turbo doesnt realy float my boat if you know what im talkin bout
ive been raised around all N/A freaks and the numbers they put down dont seem like much but when ever we take them to the back roads against a boosted ride the boost just cant compete with all motor, sure on the track you have your full out micky thompsons wrinkle walls and away you go no matter how much power your puttin down with that boost, but im a street racer and on the streets all motor rains supreme
pluss it aint that hard to get 220 hp when you got a good Dyno tune on race gas runin 13 compression

victory x manifold, 65mm throtle body, ARC intake, RMF header, skunk2 pro2 cams, retainers, dual valve springs, ctr dome psitons Ls V-tec runin 13.2 compression, tuned on race gas, with a mild port polish as well as doin the three angle valve job, i dont realy care about the money thats why i work hahaha sure i aint gonna do this all at once but as long as it takes ima get that power N/A BABY!! anything else is just cheating if you gotta call on forced induction to get you over a measily little 200whp you should be ashamed of your selves

Nobody is arguing about anything and the thread is not going to get locked. There is way worse stuff that happens in other threads and their not locked. As for negativity I wouldn't call it that. I'm just simply stating my point of view and he is doing the same thing.
No I'm till not sure really. Everyone loves the lexus color but I've seen 15+ hondas painted that color. Not really wanting to just be another desert sage honda. I haven't seen the nissan green though I know it's been done before and never seen the jeep green but it kinda seems to flashy for me.

So your having to use race gas to reach your power goal. Who drives their car daily on race gas? Freakin' wallet is WAY bigger then mine if you can do that. It's $8-11 a gallon x 10 gallon tank. 330whp all day from a gsr on 93 pump gas with no issues. You can do close to 400 all day with pistons and rods still using a stock head but switching to itr cams. You can spin it how you want but your just going to spend more money to make 1/2 the power.

thats why you tune your car dude so you could get perfection in what ever roads your runin, if its a simple grocery run to the super market, to a bio friendly Ethinal tune to get you around the country without killing th O-zone, to getting down and dirty at the local drag strip with the race gas map
