So I went to the local engine import shops around here and all they have
is the JDM d15b vtec.

Question: Should I buy this d15b or is the d16z6 better?

 

What do you expect you went to an importer looking for a usdm motor!?!

Both are fine, z6 has bigger mains which is good if you plan on winding it out to pretty high rpms, d15b has better rod to stroke ratio

 

One of my buddies actually found a z6 there, was weird cause they import
from japan. But yeah thanks for info, might just build up a d16 block later

switchin up my build now. thinkin bout doin a "lil" turbo build at some point with the del sol. tryin to find a crx to build up a b16 for for some HC instead of the d16 now.
back to the drawing board haha.

Got the visor off of ebay. I had it on before and took it off. All you have to do is buy some new 3m tape and redo it. Its sweet.

ehh- I didn't like them, they were small and I am just going for a more slammed old school oem type look. Trying to find some prelude rims or diff style stock accord rims.

 

i can appreciate that....but they would look alot better with some spacers to push them out a bit cuz they look sunk into the fenderwells and a color to make em pop.....like a teal or something

 

Ya I know it would look better, but I don't like the idea of spacers, and I do ALOT of driving. sunk ftw LOLz

slammed old school and mix it up with the new and 5-lug swap it with some bigger oem acura wheels

5 lug swap is too much money haha, maybe go with some wide wheels later this year, not sure... I just bought another stand up jetski this weekend, my other hobby so car goes on back burner

 

i feel ya....thats why im a single cam guy....i can do mostly everything the b-series guys can.....at half the price
