I should of ran open downpipe too lol he was running it. When i dyno tune my car i had the exhaust on so not sure about any gains with running open downpipe

 

pulling the motor out of the 88 in the morning this is gonna be fun :sarcasm:

 

Even if you made the same power chances are he's still faster......unfortunatly our best stock trans is the si/ex.....which is comprable to a ls trans.....you need to make quite a bit more to get to where hes at......

And my manifold is cracked....found it today

 

Yeah i raced a boosted gsr with a ball bearing turbo, he was making 300whp and i was at 350. I was playing the catch up game once i got into boost. His advantage was gearing and the early spool due to the turbo.

 

yeah he said he was almost maxing out 5th gear and i didnt even get a chance to go into 5th lol

 

boosting the hatch this spring. got my *** kicked yesterday from the 88 crx f*ckin rust bucket

 

man i would love a zc 3rd and 4th...

 

i found a crack in my mani and im scared as hell to do a pull when its this cold......i did however have some hillbilly try to race me in his truck.....i went just fast enough to stay infront of him, then i slowed he pulls up next to me and revs, trys taking off.....so i drop a gear punch the throtal and laugh at him as i fly past him...lol he had his lady in his truck and it did sound mean....im sure he felt great about himself afterwards, i know i did

 

They have big trucks to make up for what they don't have. I actually met a girl (we ended up in a hotel on Saturday night) that hates big trucks and body builders. She wants an S2K and I'm slightly fat, even though I'm in the USAF, our PT is a joke. Sounds like a winner for me.

what you guys think about the function forum type 1 coil overs? might order some this week

 

My friend has them on his integra and he loves them. I ride in it all the time and it's a pretty good ride quality.

 

nopersonal experience but i have heard alot of good things about ff coilovers

heres mine.. raced another friend of mine earlier today too did freeway pulls a few times. he had a lsv stock internals on a gsr tranny boosted too ram horn manifold not sure what size turbo but its a turbontics running on 10lbs of boost. and i ran open downpipe and i could diff the power differences as well with running open downpipe. i pulled on him through out the whole 3-4 gear since i was spinning 2nd gear .

 

Not bad....but that manifold is killing you ....I can send you my shipping adress and take it off your hands


Although I have noticed sometimes I get a cel in the high rpms...like top of third at full boost....it then runs like ***....I then cut it off and turn it back on and its fine, cel gone....any ideas

 

i dont have any recent shots, there is now more p/s and vacum lines has beeb relocated i'll take bettter asap.
