Whats up guys i just picked up a ef hatch.I put the gsr away because i was bored of it.Anyways i picked her up for 200 bucks she runs but smokes.So i was wondering if there are any lil trick's i can do with say junk yard part's to make it faster.It is a dx modle i would like to keep it dual point i just like the way it look's and honda will neve make a motor like it again.So anyways i wanted to put a a6 bottom on with si tranny would i see a bump in CR and hp or is this a dumb idea.Once i get her going i would love to be apart of sohc squad!!

With the dual point fuel injection, your missing alot of hp. If you do wanna keep it, I would suggest a a6 bottom with some B series pistons. I don't know exactly which ones fit. Also I suggest a turbo. D series won't be quick without a turbo. I am going to stay NA because I wanna have reliability and the great sound of a D16Y motor. Hope this helps and have fun with it. I want in....dont have pics yet but will. I have a question about my ride, if anyone can help. I have a D16A motor and all info i can find has numbers beside the A but mine has none. What does this mean and can i use specs from another to work on mine?? Help please
Hey cj. You have a jdm motor. If it has a a number you have a usdm motor, you'll have a number. You have a little more horsepower and a little less gas mileage. Most everything is the same as usdm.

can yo boost a obd0 car?My d15b1 head is toast so im going to slap a d16a6 head on with a y8 head gasket and boost it can i do that with obd0?If not will a y7 motor drop in and can i use the a6 dizzy on the y7 head?
