I like the Z6 head the best.
Y8 intake ports are curved. This creates swirl and is good for low-end power and economy, but not for top-end and power. Y8 has quench pads which forces the af mixture into the center of the chamber for better power/economy though a more complete burn. Milling the Z6 head gives you quench pads with a very small chamber (close in size to the Z1 chamber) and will improve flow slightly.

Welp. fingerd out my motor build I'm doing. Picked up a a6 block with a spun bearing for twenty and got a complete z6 head today from the junk yard for zixyt. I made out like a bandit
