hey guys havent been on in awhile and have a tech question for you all. I just got a D-series Obx intake manifold in a partial trade and was wondering is it any good? would i gain any sort of power on a d16y7?
Hahaha Oh, I definitely know. I've been slowly building this car since '07. I'm finally done "fixing" everything that was wrong with it... now it's time for upgrades.
I don't think I'm ever going to get rid of my Sol. I've put in too much blood, sweat and tears to sell it. Haha. I'll post more pictures of it in a bit. It has a lot of body work to be done.
Thank you.
They're a fun car. They're little pigs and hard to make fast without motor swaps, but they're fun to work on and get creative with. A swap is in my Sol's future, just not yet. I want to see how far I can push my D16Z6.

hey guys been super hectic the last couple of days trying to get all the bugs worked out of the coupe, thing is alot quicker than i remember it being lol, it was nice driving it again.
That depends on your definition of fast.
But I get what you're saying. I'm going to stick with my D series for a while and see what it's got.
mr mattj do you know how to install those energy suspension bushing kits? ive been looking on the web but cant find one... and they also have the mounts right like for the trail arm lower trail arm etc...?
wassup squad,
this weekend just finished up replacing my ISB bearing and main shaft bearing in my tranny. Cleaned it up alittle with the dremel tool. And still waiting on my Exedy stage 1 clutch and Greddy header to install. I still think I should of bought the Stage 2 clutch but for 200 i ll take the stage 1. As soon as I take pics I will post up.......................

I do and yes they have those for the trailing arm etc. but unless you have access to a hydraulic press you wont be able to do it yourself.
