Yeah i pretty much feel the same way. I got my car right before it started getting cold and now i have tons of stuff i can put on it but i cant cause its too damn cold. I wish it was 80 degrees and summer, that way i can put 8 hours into my car and have it still be light out lol.

 

i wish it were in the 60's so i could do the touch up paint and give my car a good and much needed bath

 

so anyway...i called a guy today about accord parts...im interested in trying to find a cheap f22b1 engine to build slowly while i continue to drive the cd5. the kid had one that was mildly built and was asking 800 for it! did i mention the front end of the car was pushed so far back that the radiator support was touching the exhaust manifold??

 

Yeah im painting my hatch champ white once the weather gets warmer. It sucks when you have a leaky garage and no way to keep the heat in when the heater is blasting.

damn, thats no good. but a built f22 ftw! I heard those were very boost friendly and have tons of potential for big horsepower gains.

yeah man! the bisimoto build hit 425 to the wheels naturally aspirated!!!!!

i talked to people pushing in excess of 600 with boost!!!

cuz no one knows about them and there is not much else available for the accord. but the accord is soooooo wide that if the suspension was overhauled it would handle AMAZINGLY!!!! so i think it is an excellent platform....now if honda had made a true awd system for it then it would be the ultimate! lol

 

oh...and why do you think the s2k uses a revamped f series? lol

 

but ive heard for years now that they are probably one of if not the best honda motors to build. They are reliable and cheap. I agree about the accord, it is an amazing peice of honda machinery, but the fact that it seems heavy and is bigger than a civic kinda turns people off lol.

isnt it a dohc engine tho? Im not really familiar with the s2k's and their specs, maybe cause ill never have the money to afford one. But i have been reading up and they are getting cheaper year after year. maybe ill get within the next 5 years if im lucky lol.

well got some **** accomplished today, installed a vafc into my buddies ej1 just to find out that the thing didnt even work, tried putting coupe mirrors on the four door, those didnt work either because of the window trim, then i bought my new exhaust for the four door as well and im going to be putting that on tomorrow.

I know that, but i was just talking about the single cam f-series engines that come in the accords. I dream of having the dohc f22 out of the euro r. omg that thing is sexy.

It sucks that alot of things from the coupe and the 4 door will not match up. they look the same but look oh soo different lol.

what do you mean the depreciated value? if they total it, i'll just get something else. i mean, i just put it up for sale the other day, totalling it would just speed up the process, . but, seriously, idk. geico (my insurance) said the car value is worth $3800. Isn't that what i would get? or no. i've only ever totalled one car before, and they paid off the rest of the loan, so i really don't know what to even expect this time.

whats up everyone, sorry for the lack of updates, i had a 4 day weekend so i didnt do ****!

i got my sedan finally running near perfect, think i have a blown motor mount tho...stupid engine keeps rocking back and forth when i give it some torque.

my exhaust finally got installed, 2 1/2" straight piping, 18" resonator and a Cherry Bomb muffler. nothin fancy, stock look but high flow and a **** load more power. pretty quiet too.

as far as the squad, i havent recieved any PM's from the inactive dudes so i will be removing them from the front page and some people will be MOVING UP A SQUAD NUMBER so make sure you look at the front page if you have your number in your sig.

Fre, JDMPR, anything i missed really? i skimmed over and saw a couple people submitting pics but other than that, looks to be business as usual.
