Haha my boss drives one of those, they are f'in HUGE!!!! almost like an midget SUV mixed with a ginormous car.

Thats why we go to meets 2 hours away, so that kinda stuff wont happen to us lol. And it makes for a pretty fun drive there, unless you get stuck in seattle traffic and have to **** your pants lol.

o i have a little story cuz i heard someone mention an sti... i was riding in my buddies built 2004 wrx STI (tuned on 28psi) and its really fast right? (obviously) well a couple months back we were going to a local car meat... and a 2door saturn, like one of the old ones with the headlights close together, pulls up next to us and wants to race and we just kinda laugh and speed up to around 90 then all of a sudden the saturn blows past us like were standing still... so we catch up to him and slow down to a stop to race the guy... and the sti only pulls 3-4 car lenths on him by 60 and by 100 we were even and by 130 he was gone... just a little story... just thought it was amazing how fast that car was... so if you live in WA watch out for a light gold saturn 2 door!!! lol

 

You can make those things fast, Saturn sc2 twin cam, only problem is that nobody buys them cause its a Saturn and people will laugh at you and wont take you seriousely, I thought about buying one but I didnt want people to point and laugh, its alot cooler to own a Honda, although I wouldnt mind owning an SVT Focus

 

im the plantiff, stupid *** car dealer i got my XB from is shady as a ****!

i dont need to bring up the story cuz im getting my money back, returning the car, end of story!

but heres what happened real quick...got it Nov. 18th of this year, in the past 3 weeks i had to have a BRAND NEW tranny put in, and an outer tie rod fell off WHILE DRIVING.

so you can imagine how i felt since i had my girl with 2 kids in the car at the time.

oh and no need for court, im gonna be given my $1400 downpayment back tonight.

ya i never knew that... crazy not really a ford guy but a couple of my friends have focus and there alright i guess... lol one car i have always liked are MK2 gti's i think thats the only car that could pull me out of the honda game if i got offered a car in trade...

damn dude im sorry... ya thats why i dont really like going to dealerships... my dad a couple years back bought an older chevy truck that seemed to run good... untill a week later it got a rod knock and when we drained the oil there was alot of sawdust in the oil... so the dealership put saw dust in the engine so temperarly quiet the noise... never knew you could do that till then... but did some research and apparently its pretty common for some shady people to do to quiet a rod knok to sell real quick???

 

damnit my girlfriend got me all paranoid now. she was saying to cash the check right away after i get it so they cant turn around and cancel it haha.

Yea I had a Focus ZX3 for a while and put some ground control coilovers on it and it drove like a go kart, performance aint the best but the SVT has a different motor and its rated at 180hp, in europe its one of the best cars you can buy cause its got great suspension and handling characteristics, I turned one of my friends into a beleiver when i let him drive it and he is use to driving high horsepower v6's, GTI's are great cars with a huge following but they have issues and expensive to fix

 

name one european car that ISNT expensive to maintain and fix.

 

Thats why I stay away from them, cheaper to build and fix a Honda

yeah those things are so light that any more power than stock makes them rocket...they are ugly as all hell tho haha

very expensive. i personally hate vdubs. everyone touts how fast a vr6 jetta is and i beat one by 4 car lengths in a 0-100 pull in my stock na 87 supra

the corollas are starting at 15k! thats a grip for a corolla. im gonna having 2k to put down, and cant do more than $400/month.

 

Dude, a cube? You can do so much better then that, get a Yaris hatch, or a Fit, some kind of mini car, but stray away from that retro crap

 

Those Suzuki SX4 aint bad, you can get a cheap hatch with AWD or the really nice sedan, look into it

 

plannin to get a 240sx as my substitute car... Hehe... Watchu guys think?
