i just graduated. it came out in 00' right? i graduated then. it was a cool movie back in the day. everyone buying z3 fenders, huge wings, stickers for their cars, clear tail lightgs. lol. it was good times...now everyone's so "jdm" and "oem" noone can do anything to their own car anymore without some sort of negative critisism. oh how the times have changed.

if your car is "too oem", you'll get knocked for not having it dropped. if its "too jdm", you'll get questioned if everything on ur car is real or replicas.

its like you have to have the perfect combination of oem and jdm for people to really like a car. i dont even give a **** anymore really, my window visors and suspesion is all ebay crap but its cheap and gets the job done. the only thing on my car thats jdm are the 92-93 integra front seats.

oh, the motor too haha.

I buy whatever looks good and performs good on my car, im not gonna spend a crazy amount of money on a 90 sedan with rust all over it. If I had an Evo or an STI thats a different story, but for now, fake is good!

im a big fan of OEM wheels and OEM seats, CRX SI looks the best IMO, but del sol seats are the most comfortable.

the one thing i DONT go for are all the "baller" type items, tow hoods, lca's, rear tie bar, strut tower bar..those kind of things are useless.

if i did have a tow hook, i wouldnt want some sloppy tow truck driver hooking up to it in the first place.

I'm no baller, but to me strut bars and rear lower tie bars are important parts.

I'm building a little autocross **** though, nothing pretty.

yeah my car is an autocross car, and as far as tow hooks go im going to be putting them on my car since it is required to have them for roadracing as far as i know. And i believe strut bars and tie bars are important, not to the extent of what some people are doing though, its just like damn its like a set of ****in monkey bars. Im thinking maybe turning my coupe into just a stripped out full race car, and having the sedan as the every day driver, but i dont know what i want to do.

every day driving is what i was talking about...i just honestly dont see the purpose for these things, besides drawing attention from the cops that is.

isnt it a dohc engine tho? Im not really familiar with the s2k's and their specs, maybe cause ill never have the money to afford one. But i have been reading up and they are getting cheaper year after year. maybe ill get within the next 5 years if im lucky lol.
yes the s2k is dohc and there was originally a dohc version too in the euro r and the japanese type r (although that one had an f20). and yeah the accord is heavy....as far as hondas go lol. it weighs 2800 gvw! thats still pretty light! mustang from 94+ weighs about 3500

i dont care what you drive, you may be able to go like a bat out of hell in the snow but at the end of the day, you still cant stop fast enough

eg suspension is taller, more then likely you got eg front forks, you just might have to swap over to ef suspension cause eg front struts are thicker, you can lower it the way it is but I dont how low you can actually go with the wrong suspension on there
