Anyone from the squad going to Import Alliance?

 

Booked my room 2 months ago. I went to the fall meet last year to since i was in louisville at the time.

 

yeah i booked 2 months ago as well dono if i should drive the da from here in va beach VA....should I????

Drive the Da, i'm driving from Pa so it should be like a 14 hour drive. I'm rolling with people from ct, ny, nj, de, pa and meeting up with people from Va on the way.

 

Cool, I'm actually debating weather or not to go. I wanted to go to the
East coast H-T meet, but didn't make it. After hearing how much of a
weak showing DA's were, I want to Represent our chassis. It's just
that 18 hour drive ... damn! lol

yes most def clean those headlights...i wasnt a fan of the painting of the mugen's when i was up close jus it being rhd was it ...

i went last year with a friend, but didnt take my car. this year im taking my da on the 17 hour (something like that) drive all the way from texas.

1. tell us about your da. how long have u had it? what was it like when u got it compared to now?
She's a 1993 Integra GS-R. Aztec green paint, Blades, Clean as hell. No rice. I've had it since May 6th 2009. When I got it it was close to how it is now. The only thing I have done is ITR pistons, valves and springs.

2. what do you like about your DA? why you chose it as a car?
The thing I love about the DA is the styling. It's low profile and unassuming. It can easily sneak up on you. It's a clean car.

3. what are your future plans for your da?
Future plans are stiffening up the already amazing suspension (Tokico right now) and adding a front and rear strut bar for extra support.

4. why do u want your DA to be in the DA Squad?
I want to represent one the most influential cars Honda ever put out. I love the DA and want to let everyone know that.

i think thats pretty beat cuz some cars look really good with stock wheels and not every one can afford "real" wheels. im not planning on having wheels for a while after my car is done unless i find some stupid deal. i'm just gonna run my ls mesh wheels for a while cuz they look good on the da.

not that i even care anymore, but the way it looks with all these f*ckin rules popping up every few weeks like a damn dictatorship, i'll never make it in the squad again. good thing im building my car for myself and not for you huh?

and if you're really all about enforcing all the rules, how about the cars that have 17" wheels that are on the list? and how about the people on the list that since they've been added you never see them post? there's some people on the list i've never seen post in here since i found this thread last year! hows that fair that they're on the list when it says, you must be active?

That's what sucks about trying to get in. Next thing you know, you might need a swap because you can't be running with a stock motor, right? I mean because it's stock.

I think the rule is stupid, ive seen some clean *** DAs rollin on si's blades and fat fives also i love rollin around on my oem swirlies for time to time, i think if your a DA chassis enthusiast and your car is clean and with some tastful mods you should be eligiable for the squad


and i have a idea, i think the current squad members should be able to vote for who we would like in the squad i think seth should be in the squad just cause he painted a few of his interior pieces shouldnt dq him from the squad hes put alot of time and effort into his da and he is one of my best friends hes always down for to hang out and go to meets even if there in canada lol
