lol that i do know only thing he says is the upper mount thats by the timing belt broke off and the bolts need to be drilled out and re tapped now i dont know how bad of a job that is but i figure if i was gonna rebuild my ls anyway to do the ls vtec heck why not just get the gsr and rebuild it as long as the block or head isnt cracked but of course thats not with a tranny or ecu
that bra actually doesn't look too bad. 900 for a long block gsr sounds like a pretty decent deal too. i've seen them go for quite a bit more already, so that seems like a fair price.

ACURA, not HONDA. i know, and so does everyone else in here, that honda makes acura, its a well known fact. but, you drive an ACURA INTEGRA. you have the usdm version of a HONDA INTEGRA. same thing, i know i know. but some of the parts that you buy for an acura are strictly acura, not a honda part. that being said, your car is titled as an acura, not a honda. so i think you should "rep" it as such. seeing an acura/honda product with altezza's is just as bad as seeing a mis advertised car. know what i mean? and, i never said that you don't know ****, or questioned your knowledge. i can't judge what i can't see,

yea im gonna try and pick it up tomorow question though being that its a jdm b18c and im saying that because it say b18c instead of b18c5 on the code plate thingy on the blobk lol anyway being that im gonna rebuild it do i have to get all jdm gsr parts or will the usdm gsr parts work i know the jdm b18c has like 10 more hp but i dont know exactly whats the diffrence
thats a hell of a deal for a jdm b18c! i'd be all over that if i was you. as long as its legit and not stolen. as for your gasket question, as far as i know you should be ok using the us gaskets. im not aware of any differences. and that motor would def be a fun daily driver. a friend of mine put a bone stock one in a gutted eg hatch and ran a 14.2 with a burnt out clutch! of course it wont be that fast in the da, but will still be fun for a daily

b18c5 are type r motors, and yes usdm parts will work in the b18c...That motor is a good deal...The bolts being busted off sucks to fix though..

I know there is one called straleys machine shop in dallas he does hondas, I think hes a little expensive but does good work..

yeah, i say f*ck rule number 4!! i mean seriously, people do take time to build their cars with more than just bolt ons and engine builds dont just happen over night. and basically what you are saying is that it doesnt matter if someone's car breaks down and cant be driven for a few days, they're out of the squad, or if someone like me, jj, steve, or matt are actually taking the time to do an extensive build. who f*cking cares if the car is not CURRENTLY running. it was when we started and will be when we're finished, right? if anything, it just means we are more dedicated to our cars and trying to get more out of our cars than other guys (and was no offense to anyone else). plus like jj said, some of us do get snow and dont have sunshine all year round and we'd rather park our car than wreck it and lose all of our hard work. so like i said, F*CK RULE NUMBER 4!!!! if you want to get mad at me and never let me back in the squad once my car is done, so be it. i can live with it cuz im not building my car for you anyhow.
and as for what you said yesterday about not posting everyday cuz you got tired of people hitting you up everyday to be in, if its that big of a hassle to you, then give the sqaud responsibilities to someone who can handle it. ooooor, just ignore the messages if its someone you know is not a regular in here and not worthy of being in. its not that hard.
now, on a lighter note...i FINALLY sold my civic shell last night so now its time to find me another da for a daily driver!!

dunno im leaving for basic in either August or October, but i plan to tear my DA down once i get my DB1 back on the road, i dont think rule #4 is the best rule, i rep my DA Daily if it is running or if it isnt when ever i hang out with friends at meets w/o my car they always ask about it, and i agree with Andy im only bettering my DA and putting more money into it lol this will be the 4th or 5th motor ive built/swapped into my DA i dont think i should loose my spot cause i wanna clean up my DA and put a new motor in it. this could turn into a full up restoration of my DA if the cash flow and my wife get better

I have a few shots of my car. Somewhat of an update. Yes, I know how I place the sticker is ricey, but I removed it and now getting a another to relocate it. I just mounted on my Trust exhaust I just got and 93 tail lights.
