i wanna put a 91 bumper on my 92 da....they do look clean...and i want the foglights too...im thinkin about trading it in at this shop out out here in sac (redline motorsports) cuz mines in really good condition

 

i dont think i've seen someone with a 92+ bumper cut custom holes for foglights like how ef's do. hmm

 

i havent seen anyone with custom cut outs either...i usually see the fogs in the mouth of the bumper

 

hey guy...is it a good deal for brand new DC headers for my DA...their only 120... and a soppn straight pipe for 40...will i get any noticeable power gains???

Meh, I wouldn't do it.

 

1. it's DC Header, these are not muscle cars
2. With a straight pipe and header it will be noticeably louder and raspy and ricer sounding just my opinion. You will also loose some TQ.
3. A DC header will not yield that much power, why not go with a TRI-Y knockoff header?

What are your other mods to support a straight pipe and header?

 

i dont think dee a nine is gonna mess with the da squad anymore... he said something about how he should have done the squad like the ek squad or something like that... only have the best be in the squad... i say everyone should be in the squad and who cares... if you have a da your in the squad and stop numbering it because dee a nines not gonna pay attension to it... like how i(me) was the one that redid the list and spent the time removing all the inactives and the ones that dont exist on here anymore...and others act like they did it. haha. i was really bored and whatever though. just trying to help. but like i said... im sure dee a nines not gonna respond to people wanting in the squad so... you are your own person... if you want to say your in the squad and get a sticker whatever just do it... no ones gonna remove you lincense to drive a da.

Well a header and straight pipe will do no good through a stock exhaust. So you might want to add an exhaust on the list too!

Yeah it's lowered on H&R Race springs so it's not slammed, like I thought it would be. But coilovers are on the way as soon as tax return comes in.

1. tell us about your da. how long have u had it?
About 6 months.

2. what do you like about your DA?
I always loved the Da's looks and always wanted one. It was a car I wanted in high school but never got and now I have the cash to put into it and do it right. Its a solid platform to build from.

3. what are your future plans for your Da?
I have a ton planned for it , so in short a clean old school style Da that can handle.

4. Why I want to be in the squad?
Its a close nit crew and a great source of info.

 

ill start updating that list when the regulars in the squad approve. most likely by tomorrow ill know if theres any problems with this. if not, we'll start adding on names

 

you guys still need to fill out the 'form' that says why you want to be in the squad and all that jazz. i think we should keep the list and just start a new thread that keeps the list from this one so that we can edit it.

 

be18see1.... i already did that back on page 131.....so this weekend il be replacing the bearing after that ill finish up this ls head im port and polishing gettin it ready for the skunk2 intake some dual valve springs and titanium retainers and possably bc cams
also soon im gonna be gettin the skunk 2 front and rear camber kits and the rear lca from skunk2 ill update here in a couple weeks again
