Just curious, how many of you guys drag race/ weekend drive your DA...I see alot of you guys autocross/ track race, but how many like to push there car up the 1/4 mile?

 

my DA is my only car so i drive it daily and street race on weekends or whenever anyone wants to run. 1/4 time im not to sure what i hit only race track out here is famoso raceway near bakersfield thats about an hour drive from where i stay

 

Me. I only drive my DA on nice days or to go to the track. Havnt been to the track with it in about a year
Best on this motor is 13.8 @ 100 with a 2.1 60'
Didn't get much seat time on it til I broke an axle. Long story short, axle broke in the LSD and I thought it was the trans and let the car sit for a year.

 

yoo just got my magnaflow exhaust put on w/ a glasspack and 4inch tip. sounds really good with a nice deeeep tone. Now the cops cant say ****!

 

mine is my daily and i raced it at pacific raceways all summer... 12.3 at 112 stockblock lst on 14.5lbs

 

i drag/daily drive mine as well. the best i've managed to pull out of it is a 14.68 @ 96 mph with a 2.2 60 foot. I'd like to see what it could if i could figure out how to be more consistent with my drag radials, or better yet slicks. eventually i'd like to auto-x or take it to a track day to see if it can out perform my old ej8.

you gotta shave off the mounts where it would mount under the door and shave that whole part till there is about 1/8" left tham put 3M double back grey foam tape along that and the humps of the clip mount under the car.

my best run is a 14.5 @ 96mph but thats with a Ls tranny and street tires spinning really bad, my best trap speed was 98mph i hope to hit low 13s high 12s if not faster this up coming season at the end of the 1/4 i was still in 3rd at about 7500 rpms lol

We don't have a 1/4 mile track nearby...I'd have to do some driving, but in 1/8th mile, my car went 9.83 @87. I think it was 87mph...its been so long, and I lost all my time slips. I was running stock b16, with i/h/e, sort of grippy tires, and had a full interior and stereo. Not sure what I'd do in the 1/4...maybe a high 14 to low 15.

i might be joining the boosted da club within the next couple months! im totally fed up with this piece of **** b20 build and my buddy wants to trade a complete turbo setup (minus intercooler) and a tune for what ive got in it. turbo is a REAL garret t3/t4 57 trim with only like 2000 miles on it. im hoping to make in the ballpark of 270 whp and still get 26+ mpg. itd be quick thats for sure!
