Default Are you running your "Nitrous" restrictor before the turbo, or out of the block?

Just curious where you put your's, i ran mine slightly bored out with a safty pin before the turbo and fed it too much oil causing it to ruin the seals. I bought a new one and put it in it's place, this stopped the smoking for awhile, then it started again, i moved it to the back of the block (before the oil feed) and it cut down on the smoke, but it started yet again. I put my bored out one in before the turbo and i think i didn't get enough oil to the turbo, 1,000 miles later, it got so much shaft play, it started hitting the turbine housing.

I'm wanting to buy a new turbo and i don't want to ruin another one, is it safe running an unbored restrictor out the back of the block into the feedline? How do i measure what size the feed is (as in 3an or 4am)?

Mine's not a nitrous jet either, it's an Autometer part for their gauges. Thanks for your input.

what turbo are you using. i run a precision sc34 with a -3an feed line with no problems. no oil restrictor anywhere.

Garrett's T3, if i don't restrict it, it literally shoots oil out.
