how much boost did it take you to get 500whp and what size turbo do you have

sc61 and 22psi

 

SC63 ITR (9:1) 27psi

 

On old set up 25psi with a T3/60-1 .82 A/R turbine housing and Stage V wheel, new set up about 20psi

 

t-70 @22psi

Because he is tired of being beat by guys with 400 whp?

I'd like to know really why you do with 500whp on the street though. Or is this a street car? Hell, I can barely put 350whp down on the street effectivly. 500whp must be a bear to control.

 

so its common to run 25+psi to get 500whp , i think its going to take me that much ill see after i get cams

 

SC61 @ 23psi. useless on the street, detuned to mid 300 might get some traction. But then I have shitty tires.

Man when I had 370whp on my old set up, I had left the track full of RACE gas boy that was FUN on the street, took some friends for rides WHOAH! Got squirelly on the highway trying to PROVOKE a Red Trans Am one night scary! Boostfed has grown up now and stays cool on the street plus when it takes 7k to hit full boost you got no choice BUT to be MATURE

takesyou 7grand to get full boost but your shifting at 9grand,am getting boost at 5grand and shiftig at 7000 that is just when your motor just start coming alive am shifting, when i got my cams am trying to rev atleast 8000rpms

No Derron that was my old set up and that hit full boost by 5000 at least with a redline of 8400. I don't hit full boost until about 7k now but that is 28psi, I hot 20psi by 6500 or so and 15psi 6000 or so. That is alot of power.
