Default garrett to4z???

I was looking for a good turbo to hit my 700hp mark. I was finally set on a gt42 until a came across a garrett to4z for a lil cheaper. What turbo would be better. Its a street/strip car. Any input will help

I would deffiantley choose that over the 42r for a street car. It is also known as T04R, GT37R, and the T4/T67 BB, to widen your search.

to4zr would be the better choice for the street/strip car

The T04Z can also be bought with a T3 Turbine Housing, which makes it a T3/T67HO BB. I love mine and it see's regular street action, 20psi by 6k w/ .82 AR on an 81.5x87 Motor. EDIT: How is life in slower lower DE?

Aint gonna be cheap, expect to pay $1200 or so for one, and I would never buy a used BB turbo, just too much risk involved IMO

just 1000's, dual 255hp's and a -8 feed, I knew I was going to run out of fuel on the dyno, but I didnt want a 700hp car yet. I retune in the spring with some 1600's and I might ditch the Inline 255 for a Bosch.

So for 700hp I should get another pump besides dual walbros and run 1600s. What hp could that take me to on a t67

A T67HO will make 700+, if the rest of the setup is up to par. Cant help you with the pump info, I am not sure if my twin 255's will take me to 700 on E85, so I am gonna ditch one in favor of a Bosch as my Tuner suggested.
