I have heard the same thing. They are GREAT turbos but you will have to pay for it with a kidney or your left nut.

One thing bad about them is they dont give out specs when they build them for you. You just kinda tell them what you want to do with it and they build it. I need more control over my turbos then that....Mike

Nine that is so true!. I bought one and sure as **** I paid a kidney and a left nut but the turbo rocks. The boost is powerful from about 35~3800 rpm all the way to 10,000 RPM, Has a projected power potential of about 600 WHP, (I am not going near there though.) I believe it has a 60-1 in it, but the spool up is crazy all the way to the top The only thing they were willing to tell is that its a TO4X and I am a dealer so you can imagine someone just buying retail!

I second the GB notion. Would never happen though, they would need specs for each of our setups and build custom turbos based on those. Not very group like.

Well guys if more people shows interest, I can do it. I can also call them to see what they are willing to offer on a group buy.
I can also call Turbonetics to see what they can offer as well. By the way, XS use the cores from Turbonetics. and the compressors are already polished when shipped.

but can you run the to4x on a stock b16. so lets say that i want the t04x2 with a t66 wheel can they make it for me. i am also assuming that the t04x2 has a huge compressor housing since its built for 3.0 liter engines.

Actually U can run a turbo on almost any engine, the important question here should be: "Given what I have, xyz, what is the best turbo application for MY current setup?
One should also bear in mind that U might modify the motor at a later time. If U know that U are not going to modify then U are pretty set. If chances are that U might modify then it might be wise to have a turbo built that your modified motor can use for maximum power. I will call XS Now.

Hey guys I just spoke to XS and they are in the process of moving to a newer location, all their computers and most of the lines are moved already.
I will be getting a call back from them by next Wednesday when they have settled into their new location, until then those interested should email me at cjauto@excite.com
