Default help with turbo selection...

hey guys, i know you guys frown on posts like this.. but i was just wondering whats the deal with these turbos from ssauto... i want to put it on my h22a running small boost .. like 6psi with uberdata... thanks...

IMO SS AUTOCHROME is ****.. ive heard some really bad things about them but i dont know first hand... something like the compressor housing was glued on loll it is a small turbo too, but i wouldnt buy something from them ne way...

yeah ssautochrome sucks. they have had turbos break apart and manifolds crack apart. definitly a waste of money.

Also if I read that ad correctly, it says that it has a .48 a/r turbine which is ok for low RPM's, but at high RPM's you'll start to get choked up. IMO, you should get a 0.63 a/r turbine instead.

yeah, .48 a/r is really small, it prob is responsive down low... lol

do not get anything related to ssautochrome aka stone mountain racing, or turbocalculator. i hear 10 bad things for every 1 good thing.

the t3/to4e 60 trim will be a nice turbo if you plan on running above 8 psi. for less than that go to the 50 or 57 trim. stick with the .63 a/r turbines

alot of seal problems too if i remember correctly..

that company must obviously be ran by monkeys.. they obviously don't come here to see what people are saying about them.. they must be able to make those turbo's REALLY cheap if they can afford a return rate as high as i bet they have
