Default WTF!? Made horrible #'s @ the dyno today.. Help!

Setup: JDM d15b VTEC @ 8psi
- T3 turbo .42 / .48
- Uberdata w/ DSM 450cc's

I dont think VTEC was engaging and its running really rich in some spots..

I think i was running this base map..
http://www.slammdsol.com/files/data3.bin

But when i read the chip and saved it to a bin file this is what i got: http://www.slammdsol.com/files/noidea.bin
(notice it the vtec engage/disengage are @ 7900rpm wtf?)

Video of one of the pulls: http://www.slammdsol.com/files/MOV00008.mpg

Can anyone help me out? From looking at the graph it doesn't look like vtec was kickin in..

Have you tried enabling vtec in uberdata since you said it was off? (or at 7900) Uberdata has some bugs, one if which is that it doesn't load all of the check boxes etc the way the are in the rom. Just set them and burn.

How about tuning it a bit? Look at your afr
How much timing are you pulling?

you can reset the values for where VTEC engages...

click the 'Rev Limits' tab, then set your VTEC engage and disengage values... a good base number is something like 4500 rpm.

Set two to your desired engage point and two to your desired disengage point.

There is a thread somewhere, might be by J.Davis, regarding timing etc. You could advance it a bit under 5psi search for the thread it was very informative.

Change your desired value and make a pull - you will get the hang of it.

BTW, your site seems down at the moment.

Dude you're running dangerously lean at 5000rpms and crazy rich after 6000rpms. Your fuel maps need to be tuned badly. You're gonna blow the motor if you keep ******* around and don't tune it.

Well basically from the graph, it shows that you really lean out right around 5200 with almost a 13:1 air fuel...which is dangerous under boost conditions...

from what i recall, once VTEC engages it tends to lean out a lil bit then richen itself out after that...i cant remember for sure though

Bring to Orlando and we'll get it fixed up for you!!!

Willis is the master of UBERDATA..he's tuned 2 cars that i know of on it that has made over 400whp with conservative timing and nice a/f #'s

Here is a link to some of his work

stop mockin on people....the same thing happen to my Hondata until i got it tuned...

Uberdata is just an alternative for the less unfortunate and non "ballers"
to automatically be able to afford Hondata...

Ive seen it with my own 2 eyes for to prove that it works....just gotta get the right people to work on it....

although i did score low on my IQ tests i doubt it was because of retardation. I dont' think my b16a was making enough tq to stay running.

I blame your parents. They obviously haven't talked to you about ignorance, how to behave in a civilized society, or that your self esteem will not get better by making fun of others. And I am sure the 40s your mother put down while pregnant didn't help either.

Uberdata is the freaking Sh*t. For hundreds of dollars less than hondata. Go to the Uberdata FAQ page, http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata and learn how to make a better base map for yourself. I made my own basemap for my friend's Integra and it runs 13's with no tuning.

how much power did you expect? You have a 1.5L motor with will dyno at around 100whp, and you have a small turbo @ 8lbs? I wouldn't expect more that 150-160 on 8lbs (well tuned). Not trying to be a dick or anything, just poiting out the obvious.

i was expecting 185whp... People easly make 200-220hp on d16z6's @ 10psi with very similar turbo setups..

at 8lbs with that same turbo my friend made 170whp and 158lbs of torque on a 1.5 non vtec with afc hack tuned. so you should be somewhere around 180-185whp properly tuned(im assuming you have a 2.5"exhaust not stock right?) untuned first run my friend made 140whp so your numbers are not bad, is nothing wrong just tuned it before it blows up,running lean at high rpm is not something you want in a turbo car.
