WTF is this?
Just got my car tuned today (this was the second and last tuning session) and the car is running absolutley beatiful. And damn it pulls like a mother!. Anyway i was in about 3rd gear i guess, and i wacked it took it to 6k rpm, pulled very smooth, shifted into 4th and slammed the gas pedal hard and the car bucked once then pulled but when it bucked the CEL came on for a split second then went away.. it happened again under the same circumstances.. not sure what it is or what would cause that, would anyone know? maybe it ran too rich for a second? i dont think it detonated cuz there was no noise or anything. it just hesitated for a split secondl.

I don't think it had to do with the MAP sensor since you're set at 8psi, unless boost spiked passed 10-11psi. Even so, the CEL would have stayed on until you turned the key to the off position, then back on.
Sounds like DRT tuned the car...lol JK man

yea its holding boost fine.. no boost spike .. im almost positive it wasnt detonation.. wouldnt there be some kinda "nails being thrown at motor" type sound?

Just because the CEL isn't still on doesn't mean the code isn't saved in the ECU. Try to pull the code, see if you get something. It may help you down the road if this becomes a problem.

i dunno it just happened before again.. it only happens when im like really getting on it from 3rd to 4th gear.. as soon as i go into 4th .. hesitation and a cel comes up for that split second, then the car acellerates.

?Who read sig's anymore, i mean really. I'd say chechk that damn code and see what it flashes first. let us know what happens from there. otherwise like they said, find what ur tuner set it to.
