Default wrap my intercooler piping?

Is it worth it. I'm not worrying about looks so much. when I use a heat gun it shows almost a 30 degree difference from the outlet of the intercooler to right before the throttle body coupler. I'm not having extreme iat's there around 80-130 degrees. it is aluminum pipping. I have seen header wrap and aluminum reflective wrap used.
will this help me lower my iat's or any one that has had experience with ether
thanks

99.9% of the time it is not needed, unless you are not getting any good air flow into the engine bay from the front. Its really not worth it, nor are there any power gains from doing it.

Best method is to prevent the engine bay from getting that hot... Try to wrap the exhaust manifold, build heatshields, ceramic coating, etc.. and trap the heat where it belongs, rather than try to wrap everything else inside the engine bay.
