Alluminum intercooler piping HELP

Default Alluminum intercooler piping HELP

will alluminum piping as charge piping will hold up to say 30psi and as good or better than ss please inform please and help

Should hold up fine. The only thing is that aluminum conducts heat really well so it will raise the temps of the air going into the engine. Its also a soft metal compared to steel and if it rubs on something for a long period of time it can eventually wear through.

well i though alluminum will extract heat better and would this be better for a high horsepower street car or stainless would be better for me

The air is only in contact with the tube for fraction of a second so i don't think it would conduct enough heat to matter, regardles of material. I doubt there is a clear advantage of one over the other from a thermal standpoint. Intercooler efficiency is far more variable and critical. pick the material that you can most easily fab with.
