Default Would you gain HP/TQ by switching from Zdyne to Hondata?

OK i have a b18c with a b16 dist and a JRSC using Zdyne in a crx so i wouldnt have to switch to OBD1. It runs great never had any problems is there any reason i should switch to OBD1? I plan on going turbo in the future. Would i get bigger #'s from Hondata?

if your already using the zdyne gold ecu, i would just run that. its old but proven to make good power. i'm using it for my build, i havent gotten to play with it a lot, but i've talked to a few guys who've made 3-500hp with the zdyne, and they like it.

power is 99.999% tuning; if you just threw in hondata with a basemap you'd loose power. but if you got it tuned you would get it back maybe with maybe without a gain. depends on the timing and afr you're running now.

You might also find the obd0 rom editors interesting too, turboedit and BRE.

I run it and make 500whp/410 torque to the wheels in a fully built LS... Still using an LS head non-ported. Plan on going to 600-630 or so with my vtec head I am building ... Still using zdyne gold.
