Icon6 would i need this for my setup...

setup: stock z6 gonna b runnin a dsm t25 set to 8psi w/ the dsm 450cc injectors
and a walpro fuel pump and tuned on neptune for management.

question: i would like to run 10psi and get to the 190-200whp area so would head studs
and a thicker headgasket do justice for the extra 2psi, or will i need a bit more re-enforcement?

serousely... have you searched yet?

Personally, if the HG, TB, WP has not been done I would make sure that's all done first.
Then when installing the HG get get some ARP head studs for assurance. The old head bolts has probably been retorqued down more than twice & could stretch under boost.

Some people say it's not needed and they are right
But I'd sleep better at night knowing I have freash new head studs.

No need for thicker headgasket, just get a good tune.

The stock ones will be fine. Keep the stock gasket and bolts unless you are planning to pull the head in that case I would put studs in there just for insurance.

dropping compression with a thicker gasket is kinda old tech as is block guards. you can tune safely with stock hg and compression.

but if you feel the need to remove the head, you can only benefit from adding head studs.

honda head bolts do streach. under normal use.

Get the arp studs just to have it in handy incase you ever take the head off. But until then I would wait. Don't fix something unless it's needed to be fix. I drove my 235hp/205tq z6 with no problems with stock head studs.
