Default Will I overheat?

I need extra room in my engine bay and have a good deal on a new 94 delsol radiator, dual core half sized. Its a stock one not a fluidyne, C&R or PWR because right now I need to save money for other things.

Losing the A/C is not an option so please dont mention that. I live in Miami where it is always hot and humid.

Right now the car starts to go past half on the water temp gauge after 3 hours of stop and go city driving with a/c on and passengers. As soon as i turn A/C off it goes back to normal. I rarely drive it that much in the heat though.

My set up is in a 95 GSR:

SC 61 turbo
2.75 downpipe (i will wrap this with thermo wrap)
2 slim line fans (i would run both even with the smaller delsol radiator)
Darton sleeves
A/C (lines wrapped with thermo tape)
Jackson racing 160 thermostat (I will install this now)
water wetter (i know, i know but every little thing helps)
creating 14 psi on 93 octane pump gas

My driving habits are normal not aggressive or fast.
I put all that I think is relevant to creating heat.
Feel free to ask any questions on my setup
I appreciate all the help.

Default Re: Will I overheat? (S03Burner)

all i know is that based on experience I was using the stock cx radiator on my b16 turbo. my temperature used to hover a hair below half way. one day I was driving for about 20 minutes the temperature just started to climb. drove directly to my friends shop and bought a C&R. all I can say is that the temperature of the car droppped pretty dramatically. if I were you I would invest in an aftermarket radiator. if you went as far as sleeving your block and stuffing it with high dollar internals, why should you slack off on an engine life threating issue such as cooling.

very well put. I am checking on the prices of aluminum radiators right now. Ill have to put other projects aside for now until I get more dough.
