huge temp problem !!!!!! please help!!!!!
ok i was having some issues with my car over heating so i bought a new thermostat new dual core aluminum radiator ...two slim fans (pusher and puller ) heat rapd the downpipe ....
i filled it up with water wetter (**** i allways use )
let it run kept topping off the water ...
let it run for about an 30min .. and i look at the gauge and it's pasted hot...
so i turn it off .. feel the radiator and the hoses ...their still cold from puring the water in ... i felt the top of the radiator still cold ...
took the cap off ...still nothing ...
iam confused ... the only thing i can think of is get a new temp sensor...ive alredy replaced everything else ...
any imput would be awsome ...

Might sound like a stupid question but was the thermostat installed facing the correct direction. If it was not installed properly it will not open.

Things you need to check.
does you fan turn on and then turn off
Do both hoses get hot
Have you pressure tested your system
If both hoses are not getting hot, it's likely your thermostat (you have to make sure that you got the right one for your car, that it's installed correctly and if it's offset, that you have it clocked correctly.

i would do what everyone has mentioned above! I would like to add one more thing... Back probe your coolant temperature sensor with a multimeter and start your car up. Give your car a few mins to "warm" up and watch the reading on the multimeter in relation to the temp gauge. This can tell you if there is a sensor problem or soley a wiring issue.
A warmed up engine should read about .6 volts
