Default Coolant/water boiling in reserve tank help diagnoste problem!!!

Alright everyone I have a 93 civic with a B18B1 swap, the car has been running fine for the last couple years. Well today I drove about 20 miles and when I got out of the car I heard a steaming sound coming from the engine bay. Well when I popped the hood the reserve tank was boiling and steaming. The temp. guage in the car never went above 1/2 temp. I let the car cool down for a little bit and opened the radiator cap and filled it up with about 2 water bottles. Next, I topped the reserve tank off. It seems like it is leaking a little bit by the reserve tank, but I can't tell if the radiator or lines are. From what I can see they are not. If anyone has any input into this please feel free to leave your comments. I'll be checking back soon incase anyone needs more info. Thanks a million!

you'd come to the same conclusion if you knew anything about cars. Take my word on it, or go do some research. i don't feel like explaining myself.

well I figured to that it proabably was my radiator, but before I forked the money up for a new one I wanted to make sure it wasnt my thermostat, rad. lines, water-pump or possibly even headgasket, feel me??? I'm going to be pulling the radiator out in a min. and doing some inspecting. Well thanks bro for the word so far. Anyone else agree radiator???

I'm no pro but boiling fluid in the overflow is often a sign of a bad rad cap.

In many cases the one way valve busts and it creates pressure which can make the fluid boil into the overflow.

I would try changing the rad cap 1st. (simply cause it's cheaper than a rad)
Note: I've heard of this added pressure sometimes bursting lines or rupturing the rad too so I wouldn't f--- around too long.

Also, run a search cause I'm sure others have had this exact same thing before.
Maybe there's better suggestions out there.

I dont think my fan is kicking on. Could my fan not coming on cause the fluid to boil in the reserve tank?
