Default will a downpipe clear my a/c? pics

I just finished installed my turbo and the only conern that I've got right now is if the downpipe will be able to fit without loosing my a/c.

I'm also wondering will it be ok to drive my car to the place to get a downpipe fitted. Will anything get damaged? I'm thinking maybe putting a heat shield over the a/c, so it doesn't get damaged. Any suggestions....

hate to burst your bubble, but it proibably wont fit, also do not run w/o a dp, the gases are too hot, get some kind of diversion to get the gases to point down, or make a really short dp that at least points down, idle gases arent killer, its the WOT gases that melt, if you can get to at least point towards wherethere is nothing, WOT gases shouldnt melt anything

Mine was just as tight, they'll just have to cut and re-weld the tubing they use for the initial bend. It won't be perfectly smooth, but it's better than having no turbo!

Tony at Jotech did the first section on mine for me.

take out your fan and run the pipe forward then down (main) and the wastegate (looks like you have internal) to go down behind the AC (if it fits) dont forget that the flange 3ill take up some room too.... rig the second fan to come on as needed..

it might be possible. heres a pic of a "tight" dp i made for my car. right off the turbine, the piping is 2.0" then its swedged to 2.5". the distance from the turbine to the edge of my dp is ~2.5"
