Default Which wideband to use?

I am looking at purchasing an 02 wideband sensor. I am mixed between Innovate and PLX in terms of brands. I will be using this on a D16, an ODBI, not ODBII ECU tuned on crome. Looking for some thoughts or ideas on what you think about these or others. In the past I never used one as I would bring it to a tuner and then that was it, so my experience in picking one for myself is that much harder. Thoughts?

the best would be the ngk afx...has the best o2 sensor...but sensor its expensive....then innovate mtxl is working good for me and uses same bosch sensor as aem and most other widebands...i got the mtxl for 170 on ebay..

So would you say you have spent close to $300 on the bosh sensors + the kit? If so how long did it take you? I believe the NGK kit is like $280.

In terms of it going bad I am not too worried about it as I am using it for tune / make sure as I drive nothing is going bad. I plan on leaving in the original and running another bung for it. The car has been tuned so its more of insurance then anything else.

Im on my 5th bosch sensor in about a year, at between 30-60 dollars a piece depending on whether or not i can get them at discount when i need them. I went through them about a month at a time when i was tuning the car, and the last two a few months on each.

Good to know. Where is it mounted? I heard if you mount it in the wrong spot it will become destroyed that much faster. I remember reading somewhere about it being mounted at 3:00 rather then 9:00 or 12:00, or something to that effect when looking at the manifold / downpipe.

Am I correct in thinking that most of you that run FI do not run a wideband, only when tuning? It seems the majority of those that have FI do not have one. Do you run a narrow band (light show) one then?
