it is not necessary, but it's good to have. Are you planning to learn how to tune later down the road?

no im not planning to tune the car. But i want to know how my Afr are after my tune and down the road.
And because of the wheather here in michigan the temperture's changes alot.

2. If the wheather chages alot ex.95' to 75'deg would it affect my AFR would it be more rich or lean.

3.What is the ideal AFR numbers should be?

You dont need it if you're not going to tune it, if the tuner is decent they'll tune with temperature change in mind.

boost, afr(if you get a wideband), oil pressure, water temp, egt gauge. Personally I only have a boost gauge and a wideband, but the other gauges aren't a bad idea.

see the thing i was thinking. If i get a wideband i don't have to get an egt gauge.
