Default wideband and sensor combo

well after being discouraged from finding a motec PLM for around $800 and hearing about how complicated the FJO unit is to operate.
i wanted to know if the innovate LC-1 an/or LM-1 wideband would work with a NTK sensor if so can someone tell me the wiring specs.

oh an how accurate is the plx M-400 with NTK because i've found them around $460

thanks in advance

ive used damn near every wideband out there other than the motec unit.

the innovate units are piles of **** as far as im concerned.

ive seen plx units not work right out of the box when using leaded gas. i have never had any first hand experience with a plx with ntk sensor however.

i have an FJO that i use for tuning, and when i run my car at the track/dyno i put it in my car as well. it gets beat to **** between trying to tune cars that come in running like crap, being temporarily mounted in cars so we can drive them on the street, pump gas, race gas, pump gas race gas mix, import fuel, it doesnt seem to matter, i can put in a car and KNOW that its going to work. i love it. i have an extra sensor as well.

i actually have one of the older units that is power/ground/ 5v signal, plug in the sensor/plug in the display and go. couldnt be any easier to use. a buddy of mine has a newer unit, and even though it looks more complex, if your creative you can make it to where the install is the same. i have my power/ground on aligator clips for easy on/off....and the 5v i have a spade terminal on one end...so for the other end i can either run a male or female stock honda 02 plug, factory ecu pin, etc. i need to get myself an obd1-obd1 harness to make it even easier.

not sure if thats of any help, but worth a shot lol

based off of my experinace with plx and innovate....i wouldnt pay 20 bucks for either one of them. (this is for tuning purposes, not something permanently mounted in a car) my innovate pissed me off so bad, the last car i tuned with it was a nsx, as soon as i got the car off the dyno i threw the whole wideband as hard as i could against the wall and it shattered into about 30,400 peices lol

i think the fjo has a better heater circuit or something than most. just simply looking at the sensor after you pull it out of the car compared to any other wideband ive used is a night and day difference.
