Default My Tuner Says 8pds?

i tuner says i have to run 8pds of my stock block b16a2 is that true for A T3/T4 turbo?

You need to go back to high school.

You are running 8 PSI, not 8 PDS. That is Pounds per Square Inch.

I assume it's an attempted abbreviation at "pounds" which actually should be lbs or more accurately PSI because that is what is actually be measured.

6 was enough for 230 on my lower than stock compression pig rich b16.

if he scored a not to good compresion test it wouldnt surprise me he only daid 8psi

You can run 30 PSI if you want. Of course your **** will blow up, but if that's what you want.................


There are a lot of factors that go into how much PSI you can run. Maybe your tuner is just conservative and looking to keep your motor as reliable and long-lasting as possible. Maybe there is some other limiting factor to your setup, like the injectors or compression. Ask your tuner why he doesn't want to run more than 8 PSI. If he won't talk to you about it, then it may be time for a new tuner.

ok for one even if a guy on ht makes a mistke correct it and move on dont bash it and yes my tuner said 8PSI and i talked to him recently and he explained he is going to tune it to that to keep its everyday reliability

just to give you a tip. please be specific when asking questions with good details.

i hate it when someone PM's me and says " is this still for sale?" when i have a million sponsor special prices posted up.

youll get bashed on honda-tech for being vague.
