I assume it's an attempted abbreviation at "pounds" which actually should be lbs or more accurately PSI because that is what is actually be measured.

You can run 30 PSI if you want. Of course your **** will blow up, but if that's what you want.................
There are a lot of factors that go into how much PSI you can run. Maybe your tuner is just conservative and looking to keep your motor as reliable and long-lasting as possible. Maybe there is some other limiting factor to your setup, like the injectors or compression. Ask your tuner why he doesn't want to run more than 8 PSI. If he won't talk to you about it, then it may be time for a new tuner.

ok for one even if a guy on ht makes a mistke correct it and move on dont bash it and yes my tuner said 8PSI and i talked to him recently and he explained he is going to tune it to that to keep its everyday reliability

just to give you a tip. please be specific when asking questions with good details.
