wideband + piggyback
would i be able to use the stock vx civics wideband on my stock ecu to controll the a/f ratio with a EFI PMS unit? how do I wire it (stock is 4 wires and wideband is 5 wire right?) so it doesnt throw my ecu (obdII p72) off

Re: wideband + piggyback (filetofit)
so the only way to use a wideband is with a stand-alone? that sucks, I tough i've seen someone with a PMS that used a wideband.
what if I took my 2nd o2 sensor (after the converter) out and stick the wideband there for the pms to read and still have my stock first sensor for the ecu to rely on. I have a test pipe so both sensors would read the same amount of oxygen.
if that worked, how would I wire it?
sorry for the long posts but i'm a trial user so I can only post 5 times within a 24hr period

Re: wideband + piggyback (TurboedGSR)
I thought you can use a wideband if you want in any application, all you do is get the wideband o2 sensor, make a bunge put it in... then buy or make the circutry, and a led readout or other fancy readout to see your a/f ratio....
why would you HAVE to have standalone JUST to USE a wideband o2 sensor, they are 2 totally different things.
