i am.

just one question... I don’t even know how a turbo fits in a DA

Like how does a intercooler fit? It looks like it wont with my radiator there. And the turbo manifold will it fit with my radiator in it’s current place? And the down pipe hooks right up to the cat..

i guess my question will all of this fit in my DA without HARDCORE modifications?

Sorry for all the questions

you may want to get some slim line fans to give yourself some more room, or even put some pusher type fans on there. You shouldnt have any issues fitting a turbo kit in there.

What type of manifold is it? What turbo? That makes alot of difference on how things fit in there

I was reading what this guy did and I think that I am going to try n mimic what he did because it for a b series motor .

A T3 turbo (Garett or Airesearch) from a Ford or Volvo or Saab

And a B Series Turbo Manifold.

do some serious research and think boosting through, otherwise you will blow up your car. and not knowing what an oil return bung is, is not the best start.

i didnt want to say it, but come on! this is rediculous. i know you may be new and all, but before you ask why dont you just go to askjeevesdotcom. you would have more knowledge going to that site then you have now. i guarantee it.

as for what you should do......the possibilities are limitless.

before you boost set goals
-drag-street-autocross

then find out how much you are willing to spend......if you cant afford to have a blown motor, dont waste your time.

hopefully you arent doing this because you like the sound of a blow off valve or the spool of a turbo. so many people boost for the wrong reasons.

if you really wanted to understand what we do here in the forced induction forum, please do us all a favor and read. if everyone posted questions about insignificant things like what are silicone couplers and tbolt clamps, this forum would be full of useless pages of repetative info.

please search......THANKS.

a tip when drilling into the oil pan for a return....is to drain all oil (of course) and drill the hole while its still bolted to the engine....less chance for warpage...sometimes when u drill with the pan off...people tend to put alot of pressure on it to drill thru...and can cuz warpage and not know it...so just a little advice to save you some headach...or you could just buy a moroso pan!

Another tip: drill a small hole (less drilling pressure) and open it up with a carbide burr and a dremel tool. A bonus to this method is that you can "move" the hole slightly when you are opening it up. Large drills and sheetmetal don't work well together.

That's actually what I did! I didn't have a drill bit big enough so I drilled a pilot hole, then a 1/2" hole (biggest I had) then got the air rotary tool out and a bit and opened it up to the right size.
