who's turboed and using nitrous?
trying to get some info on the subject...so anything would be very appreciated. I'm on stock internals for my D16y8 and been pushing between 8-11psi lately. Been looking into going the nitrous route, and was wondering how your set-up is w/ how many shot, and if you're happy with it. I've heard the best place to put it was right before the hot side of the IC, this being one of the safest ways as well.

Nope, you're gunna want a direct port setup my friend. And after you run it, you won't have to say "stock internals" anymore. Then you can say "stock internals removed by excess cylinder pressure" until you build the shortblock!!!

I would only use maybe a 40shot at most.
assuming you build up the block.
The tuning with high amounts of nitrous, and boost can be difficult, and dangerous.
If it was me I would choose a 30 or 25 shot, just for the cooling effect.
STANDALONE!!
For nitrous+boost it's required!!!

Turbo + Nitrous + stock internals = "Dude, is that a rod hanging out the side of the block?"
at that point, I'd be looking into a b18a longblock. Just MO though.
good luck.
