Re: Who's running high boost on a FMU?? (kholmes)
what do you consider high boost? I am runnin 15psi daily on 93 octane with a cartech adjustable FMU, 450cc injectors, 255lph fuel pump, missing link, and afc

the hack manipulated MAP voltage so it doesn't throw a code. I use a missing link so the MAP never sees any boost at all. it is far from the hack.

While technically it can be done without blowing your motor to pieces, generally about 15 PSI or more (considered high boost by many) requires a number of $$$ spent on the mechanicals of the motor. If you drop $5k on building a motor with pistons rods studs etc, then chances are good you wouldn't risk blowing it all up by not running any real engine management.
Back to your original question. Not too many people. Why do you want to know or have I already answered that?

What size injectors?
Personally If you plan to run that much boost for any period of time I would recomend dropping your ratio down and getting larger injectors.
I ran a 4:1 fmu with my 310's and sfc.
High fuel pressure will kill your injectors fast.

Not really.
It's better then nothing I supose.
They are 270cc.
I would run some dsm 450cc injectors and get a afc to fine tune it.
use the afc to lean them out enough to ide, and then use the fmu to get the extra fuel under boost. Run a 4:1 fmu and pull more fuel once into boost. You'll need to tune it on a dyno but you should have no problem running more boost that way.
Then your fuel pressure won't be to high.

whats cheaper to you? hondata or a new motor.
many have used FMU's with great success, but even more had bit the dust. don't push your luck without a good tuner or A/F gauge.

thats actually far from and alot better than the hack IMO. Inline Pro has made over 350whp on quite a few stock block cars runnign that setup.

yep hondata is better but that set up still works plain and simple....on race gas you can run up to about 22psi on that set up with the head gasket and block gaurd
