ok i know not to use a gasket between the manifold and wg and between the wg and dumptube, what about between the turbo and dp and between the manifold and turbo inlet and also where the oil lines connect on the turbo and the oil pan. may sound like a dumb question but i know its no use having one between the wg.

I put gaskets in all those places except on the wastegate dump tube and the downpipe.

I put gaskets on none of those laces other than the manifold to the head. All surfaces should be machined flat surfaces and should seal well, mine does.

so you guys dont even use them on the oil lines that bolt on to the turbo?

yeah i use on on the oil drain line.

are all flanges about 3/8-1/2" thick or are some a little thinner?

They come in different sizes. I dont evan know how think mine is. But definatly use a gasket for the return line.
