where to mount the EGT probe????

Default where to mount the EGT probe????

i have a greedy egt gauge and i dont know where to mount the probe at ...

in the 3rd runner, distance from the head is determined by the size of your primaries. the distance from the head should the half the diameter of your primaries.

why the third runner? is this better than where the manual says to put it "tap the thread where the four runners are collected at the base of the manifold" because im tapping mine tonite and would like more info on which is better

The third cylinder generally runs leaner than the other cylinders.

what do you guys think, is an EGT worth having if it is tapped in the downpipe, after the turbo, or should I even use it?

Using the EGT in the DP after the turbo would be better than NOT having it. But you will still get better readings from the #3 runner.
