sorry for the new thread, but i'm starting to get pissed.

ordered my manifold end of november, he said it should take about 2 weeks. 2 months later, nothing.
called him about 20 times on friday, his voicemail says "dont bother leaving a message or your number cuz i wont call you back"

he hasn't responded to about 5 of my emails.... wtf???
thought he was reputable???

hrmm that sucks ... sorry to hear bout that ... fly by night company perhaps ? hopefully it gets resolved .. the manifodl was very competitiveley priced right ?

 

yea, $225 for an H23 logstyle for a t3/t4 with tial 38mm

i hope this works out for you,i was in the same situation not too long ago.....

 

The general rule of thumb should be: When dealing with a company going by the name "XX-fab", emphasis on the word FAB, make sure they have the item finished & ready to ship before sending cash, then only under an expressed agreement that a tracking # will be provided w/in 72 hours.

How many people have been burned here so far because they wanted to save a few bucks? Every 'fab' company is reputable until they get swamped but still take orders. If you need every last sale, even if it puts you way behind, your product is below what it should be selling for. The 'pros' here are right to get mad at johnny-weldor charging $20/hr for his time, rather than what most places need to in order to pay for overhead, &gt;$50/hr.

 

well from the sounds of it another "fly by night " operation has shut down , I realy hope you finds some way to get your money back , good luck

im not doubting you but why doesnt he relay this to the customer

he also owes me 100$ i spent to have my manifold milled. i even called his employer TD autowerkes to remind him of his debt to me. still nothing.

 

herms makes good manifolds i'm sure he will get it to you he has a good rep on here
