Had my engine turboed not too long ago and the CEL came on after around 7000rpm. There wasn't any engine managment just an fmu and no boost controller. 11psi is all the stock map can manage correct? In that case would the CEL come on at 11. I was running a b16 stock everything with an fmu. p30 ecu.

Thanks

Re: When will the CEL come on with stock map (tuoniz)
It should come on when the MAP sensor shows positive pressure in the manifold. This is why the Missing Link was invented. It keeps positive pressure from ever getting to the MAP sensor in the first place. ~11psi is about the max that a stock MAP sensor can measure.
